New Service to be Developed at Prince of Peace
Recognizing the need to connect with those who are not at home in a traditional worship service, so that all may “Worship Joyfully” the Worship Team and the Church Council have begun the process of designing and implementing a new Contemporary Worship service at Prince of Peace. The service will be an informal yet liturgical, praise style service that will include most of the elements of our other services. The biggest difference will be the style of music which will be led by keyboard, guitar, other contemporary instruments and singers who are skilled in the genre of contemporary Christian worship music.
One of the key elements to make this happen will be the hiring of a Contemporary Worship Leader who will be responsible for recruiting and training musician and technical volunteers, selecting and developing music and offering a high quality musical experience for worship.

It is hoped that the new service will replace the current “blended style” service in September and will be scheduled for the later service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.
