UPDATE FROM YOUR CALL TEAM
It has been a long and challenging road, however the Call Team and POP Leadership have finally made it to one of the key milestones for calling an Associate Pastor. We have completed the required Ministry Site Profile(MSP) and submitted this critical document to the ELCA. The MSP required our team to Discern heavily upon our mission. Through prayerful reflection, we feel we have completed this document which outlines our Identity and Purpose, Gifts and Resources, and Context and Needs. We invite everyone to view the MSP via the below link. If you have any questions regarding this document please contact a member of the Call Team to discuss. Our next steps are to prepare our team to conduct interviews with a candidate provided by Synod. We ask each of you to pray for the leaders within the Upstate New York Synod to be moved by the Spirit to identify and provide us with the right candidate to be Called to Prince of Peace to help us move forward together in Christ.

Ecumenical and Inter-Religious Relations
The quest for Christian unity in the world inspires the faith and shapes the life of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
“That they may all be one.” ~ John 17:21
The ELCA’s office for Ecumenical and Inter-Religious Relations is responsible for encouraging the activity of ecumenical and inter-religious life in the ELCA, and for enhancing public commitments in Lutheran, ecumenical, and interfaith discussions.
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." ~ Romans 12:18
Many resources can be accessed through the ELCA’s Ecumenical and Inter-Religious Relations web page. The web page link is:
