Stewardship (Mike Getman) The Stewardship Ministry cooperates with the Church Council and Pastor Jeff in choosing a stewardship program and conducting that program. Responsibilities include ordering materials for education and pledging, planning presentations and gatherings, distributing, collecting and recording pledges. A major portion of effort for this Ministry occurs during the Stewardship Drive, consisting of several mailings and related activities. Ministers are needed to participate in all or selected aspects of the program. POP also uses a program call “Simply Giving,” which enables members to have their contributions automatically deducted from their checking accounts on a regular basis.
