Parish Nurse Ministry (Nancy Hoelzer) The Parish Nurse Ministry has several purposes in the congregation of Prince of Peace. To promote a healthy lifestyle, to understand the connection between lifestyle choices, faith and well-being to serve as a link between community resources and the congregation and to serve as a resource to assist with the assessment of congregational health needs. We provide monthly blood pressure screenings, a monthly informative note in Connections, visits to members having special needs to assist with the above. We do not provide hands on nursing care but can provide referrals to those agencies which do so.
