Education Scholarship Fund (Denene Hisgen) This ministry supports students in grades 8 to 12 to attend a Christian education program by providing scholarships from the Education Fund. POP has supported several students at summer music programs, such as the Lutheran Summer Music Academy & Festival. This specific program features an outstanding faculty of artists and teachers who guide gifted high school and college students from around the country through a month of intensive musical study and performance. The Academy & Festival is open to students of all faiths and is committed to strengthening and expanding the Lutheran heritage of excellence in music. This ministry sponsors 3 to 4 fund raisers each year, with the largest being a Coffee House, where our students participate by offering their musical gifts.
