Pastor Jeff Silvernail and his wife Linda are both natives of Upstate NY. Jeff was raised near Broadalbin, lived many years on a small farm near Johnstown and is a graduate of the University at Albany with a BS in Biology. Pastor Jeff has a wealth of life experiences having worked as a lumber mill foreman, quality control inspector, shipper, farmer, and union representative all before sensing God's call to full-time ministry. His faith journey brought him back to the church as an adult and eventually led him to the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, and ordained ministry in the ELCA. After serving St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Bemus Point, NY for nearly 12 years he accepted the call to Prince of Peace and began serving as senior pastor in March 2009.

Jeff brings a passion for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, joyful worship, and leading people to dig deeper into the life of faith.

Jeff is an active recreational bike rider and recently organized and rode in a 340 mile ride to support the Upstate NY Synod's Feeding the Roots of Leadership Capital Campaign. He loves watching baseball, especially his beloved Phillies. In addition Jeff is a deer hunter (a.k.a his annual prayer retreat).

Jeff and Linda have one very spoiled dog, Thumper, better known as "Puppy". Jeff and Linda's son Andrew lives in California and works for Blizzard Entertainment.  Michele, Becky and Matthew are grown children from Linda's first marriage; and their children (Jeff and Linda's grandchildren) are Keeley, Luke, Sarah, Thomas and Ryan.

She recently graduated from seminary, earning an M.Div. from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia in May 2011; she is seeking ordination in the ELCA, and hopes to receive a call as a parish pastor in the future. Becca is excited to be the Lay Ministry Associate at Prince of Peace, and to be serving in her hometown area!

In her free time, Becca enjoys watching movies, singing, dancing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
